Riverside Meadows Bed & Breakfast
South Fork, Colorado
"One of South Fork's best kept secrets!"

The Inn Keepers, Fritz and Paula and their daughter Sadi along with their dog Tashi and cat Tommy would like to welcome you to their private log cabin style bed and breakfast just completed and opened on the banks of the Rio Grande River near South Fork, Colorado.  We moved to South Fork in 2001 after living in Vail for almost twenty years.  Sadi was born that summer and we all lived in a yurt next to the river while building  the house.

The idea for the log complex came from old world Norway and a house we loved from Vail.  The master and guest bedrooms are separated from the main house creating privacy and great outdoor living spaces along the banks of the Rio Grande.  Landscaped gardens and pathways leading to each building complete the private and secluded setting.  The log complex was built almost entirely by us, starting with the cutting the of dovetail corners on the hand hewn logs to installing the chinking.   We would be happy to share our experiences and knowledge with those interested in building their own log cabin.  You would be surprised how easy it is if you are willing to take the time.

A full breakfast is served daily.
Guests are invited to join the innkeepers
for a glass of wine, beer or coffee
before or after their dinner plans.

Guests are always welcome to use the
gas grill and fire pit area for cooking
or just relaxing by the river.

We are happy to provide our Guests with concierge services to help make their
stay as stress free and
as enjoyable as possible.
